The project RECOLOR, is a webapp developed as part of the Interreg Italy-Croatia Programme funded by the European Commission. It serves as a digital exploration tool for the Emilia-Romagna Cultural Delegation, allowing users to interact with the historical and artistic context of paintings, including the Mona Lisa, by exploring physical locations related to their creation.
Key features:
- Webapp: Built using React JS, enabling a seamless user experience.
- Offline Capability: The app can be installed on mobile devices and accessed offline, thanks to Service Workers.
- Headless CMS: The app uses a WordPress Headless CMS setup, which serves content through a RESTful API to provide dynamic, scalable access to data.
- Technical Stack: The architecture leverages React, Javascript, Service Workers, and RESTful APIs for efficient data management and performance.
This combination allows the user to interact with the app both online and offline, ensuring a flexible and immersive experience.
