Web Development for the European Commission – Interreg TESIM Next

This website was originally developed by Sixtytwo Development in 2016. In 2020, Cobianzo Communication Ltd assumed responsibility for its maintenance and enhancements. Our contributions include the implementation of a React application featuring an interactive map. We continue to provide ongoing support and maintenance for the website to this day.

As part of my collaboration with the European Commission’s Interact Programme, we developed Interreg TESIM Next, a website designed to streamline processes and provide tools for EU-funded projects.

The main goal was to build a custom tool that automated the creation of posters, enabling project teams to present key information in a professional and visually appealing way. We achieved this by extending the capabilities of WordPress through custom development using PHP and ImageMagick, while ensuring seamless functionality via external API integrations.

The result was a functional, user-friendly platform tailored to the client’s specific requirements, enhancing efficiency and transparency in communicating project results.

Technologies Used:

• React (NextJS): We developed the interactive map entirely in NextJS, consuming the WordPress API.
